En el predio a intervenir, con frente a una vía primaria de la ciudad de amplia sección vial (100mts) y un abundante flujo constante de vehículos, se formuló un edificio que responde a dos premisas: la de valorar la condición de un volumen que se aprecie de manera diversa según la dirección y velocidad de aproximación, y por otra parte humanizar la difícil condición urbana a través de la implementación de un jardín-balcón de acceso en segundo piso, que convierte el ingresar al edificio en un evento de disfrute.
Para la materialidad, se optó por reflexionar sobre la particular oportunidad en Bogotá de usar el ladrillo como material excepcional para una edificación de oficinas, en contraste con la tendencia actual de utilización del curtain wall, extensamente usados en el mundo.

The property is in front of a main road in the city with a large street section of 100 meters and a high flow of vehicles.
We projected a building that responds to two premises: the condition of a volume that is appreciated in a different way according to the direction and speed of approach, and humanized the difficult urban condition through the implementation of a garden-balcony access on the second floor, which makes the entrance of the building an enjoyable event.
For the materiality, it was decided to reflect on the particular opportunity in Bogota to use brick as an exceptional material for an office building. This was thought of in contrast to the current trend of using courting walls, which are widely used in the world.
