Viaje de studio Colombia: Arcilla y Bambú

El viaje de estudio se centrará en la cultura Colombiana en la zona cafetera y en Bogotá. Durante la semana del viaje, se exploró la riqueza de la materialidad: Arcilla y Bambú, y se visitaron ejemplos de usos tradicionales de los materiales así como los mejores ejemplos de arquitectura contemporánea. Un viaje de estudio en el que se visitaran lugares donde el predominio de la arcilla establece una fuerte atmósfera construida, en contraste con un escenario natural rodeado de construcciones de bambú.
Studio Travel to Colombia: Clay and Bamboo Field Trip

The Clay & Bamboo Field Trip focused on Colombian culture in the Coffee Region and in Bogota. During our one-week trip to Colombia, we stayed in the region and explored the rich layers of architectural materiality: Bamboo and Clay, and visited examples from the most traditional uses of the materials to the best examples of contemporary architecture. A field trip with locations where the predominance of clay sets a strong built atmosphere, in contrast to natural scenery surrounded by bamboo constructions.
